The BRZ is boosted!! Took 9 hours to finish the entire install, and didn’t install the EBCS since the fittings were too small. I’m taking it to the tuner tomorrow to get tuned @7psi, and see if he as a workaround for the EBCS issue.

im afraid you are mistaken, Subaru and Toyota have both told me there is absolutely NO room for a turbo.

What was the cost of the turbo kit?

$5772 shipped. Included the full turbo kit with ceramic coated turbo housing, ceramic coated hot piping and powder coated cold piping, intercooler, all necessary fittings and lines, oil cooler, modified OEM oil pan, new bumper bar, wastegate, new 3 bar MAP sensor, and BOV. The only thing I had to purchase for the install was oil to refill it after removing the old oil pan, and the tune since the JDL kit doesn’t include a base map.

That’s about what I figured. It’s also what led me on the path from wanting a Toyobaru to owning an ISF. Toyobru was 20k plus 5k turbo = WRX price, limitmed WRX = 30k, 34k gets me a ISF. Whoops.

I was looking at the ISFs also, but I picked the BRZ because I knew it would be a track car, and replacing parts on it would usually be cheaper than replacing parts on a Lexus.

Also aftermarket parts for the BRZ are significantly cheaper and I’d much rather use the saved money to mod and pay for seat time.

The worst part I have found so far is the tires. My AS/3 are $1000 for a set. Brakes are also not cheap.
